Possible topics to discuss with an academic advisor:

  • Your major, degree requirements, course selection, and career ideas
  • Understanding your options for dropping/adding a course, withdrawing from the term, or changing to pass/fail
  • Referral to campus resources such as tutoring, counseling, advising for pre-health careers, getting involved with student organizations, or acquiring experience in your career interest area
  • Gaining experience such as studying abroad, working/volunteering and internships, or learning specific skills like a language, communication techniques, or leadership

Drop-in meetings are:

  • For currently enrolled UW-Madison students
  • 15 minute sessions for quick questions
  • Held virtually and in-person at our office 139 Education building (on Bascom Hill)
